Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 10, 2025

This Privacy Policy explains how Omer Miller (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Onset Reset mobile applications and our websites and landing pages (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

Scope

This Policy covers the Service across mobile apps (iOS/Android) and web properties, including landing pages, quiz experiences, and related communications.

Information We Collect

Information you provide

Information collected automatically

When you use the Service, certain technical information may be collected automatically by our service providers for security, analytics, and performance, such as IP address, approximate location inferred from IP, device identifiers, app version, crash logs, and usage events. We do not separately store these technical identifiers outside our providers’ systems.

Cookies and similar technologies

On our websites and landing pages, we and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies for measurement, analytics, and marketing. These may be set by us or by third parties (such as analytics and advertising providers) and can collect information about your browsing activity over time and across different sites.

In the United States, we use these technologies on an opt-out basis, meaning they may be active when you visit our pages. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings and opt out of certain third-party tracking via industry tools (e.g., Network Advertising Initiative opt-out, Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out). Where required by law, we obtain consent before placing non-essential cookies.

How We Use Information

Automated decision-making

We do not currently use automated decision-making. If we add such features in the future, we will update this Policy.

Legal Bases (EEA/UK)

Where applicable, we process personal data based on: (i) contract (to provide the Service); (ii) legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Service and market to existing users, balanced against your rights); (iii) consent (for non-essential cookies/marketing where required); and (iv) legal obligations.

How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We share information with third parties only as necessary to operate the Service, including:

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and for legitimate business and legal purposes (e.g., recordkeeping). If you delete your account or request deletion, we delete or anonymize personal data we control, subject to legal retention requirements. Aggregated or fully anonymized analytics may be retained at our discretion.

Your Rights & Choices

You may request deletion or correction of your personal information and opt out of marketing emails at any time by contacting [email protected]. Where required by law (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA), you may also have rights to object to or restrict certain processing and to receive information about our processing. We will provide the personal data we reasonably control and can retrieve from our systems and processors.

International Transfers

Your information may be stored and processed in countries where our service providers operate, in accordance with applicable law and using appropriate safeguards where required.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS), authentication controls, and restricted access to production systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children & Minors

The Service is intended for individuals aged 18 and older. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a minor has provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

Third-Party Links

The Service may link to third-party sites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Effective date.” If changes materially affect your rights, we will provide additional notice (e.g., in-app notice or email).

Governing Law

This Policy and any disputes related to it are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and applicable laws of Canada, without regard to conflicts of law principles.
